Abstract

The liability of an employer to an employee has two aspects. There is his liability to employees for harm suffered by them, and his liability for harm caused by them in the course of their employment (vicarious liability). Both represent forms of stricter liability. This chapter discusses social security, tort law liability, and statutory duties.
