Abstract
The Doctor-Office Collaborative Care (DOCC) program has demonstrated clinical effectiveness for children with behavioral problems in pediatric primary care settings in a recent randomized controlled trial. Although there have been multiple adult studies demonstrating cost-effectiveness of collaborative care, there have been few similar studies in the pediatric literature. David Kolko, PhD, will present a cost analysis and lessons learned from the DOCC program. This has been the first study examining whether collaborative care lowers costs for mental health services in children.
