Abstract

The concept of partial reinforcement is a useful for a wide practical use of metal matrix composites. The final goal of this research is to establish the fatigue design concepts for Ti-alloy matrix composite (TMCs) turbine rotor. This paper discussed the influence of reinforcement fiber ends on low-cycle fatigue behavior for Ti-ally matrix composite (SCS-6/SP700).
