Abstract
Numerical Simulations on micro-pressure waves based on a linear wave equation were carried out. Results of the numerical simulations indicate that effect of an infinite baffle plate installed around a tunnel portal makes a distribution of the micro-pressure wave complex. Especially, it has been clarified that the micro-pressure wave has a large value at the position near a baffle plate due to reflection on the baffle plate, and at the front of the portal due to directivity of sources of the micro-pressure wave, respectively.
