Abstract

The effect of 15N excitation process is studied in the reaction 48Ca( 16O, 15N) 49Sc. The excitation process is included into a generalized non-local optical potential for a scattersing 15N- 49Sc and is found to be responsible for a shift of a grazing peak in the exact finite-range DWBA calculation.
