Abstract
Since radiation therapy treatment technology has improved with time, we investigated the impact of radiation, both thoracic (TRT) and prophylactic cranial (PCI), on survival (OS) for patients with limited-stage small cell lung cancer (LS-SCLC). We also investigated the toxicity of these treatments by examining secondary endpoints of mortality due to cardiac disease (CD) or stroke (CVA).
