Abstract
Mucosal bleeding is a frequent and significant cause of morbidity after CF LVAD support. Nasal endoscopy offers an easily accessible window through which to examine the mucosa. We sought to examine the association between abnormalities of the nasal mucosa and clinical gastrointestinal bleeding from arteriovenous malformations (AVM) as well as pulsatility in subjects with a CF LVAD.
