Abstract

Depressive and manic episodes of bipolar disorder (BD) can interact with sleep complaints. Sleep loss may be one warning signal that can appear before an episode of depression or mania, and it may contribute to relapse in BD as a prodrome of an early symptom. Patients with nocturnal enuresis have been associated with sleep instability, and it can be a sign of vulnerability of depression. The aim of this study was to examine the interaction of the sleep illness, such as nocturnal enuresis in BD in youth in their depressive and manic episode.
