Abstract
Purpose: In the field of lung transplantation, given the mismatch between supply and demand for those individuals awaiting lung transplantation, living-donor lobar lung transplantation (LDLLT) has been developed and applied for critical patients with end-stage pulmonary diseases, as an alternative to cadaveric transplantation. However, whether two pulmonary lobes can provide a sufficient long-term pulmonary function and clinical outcome to recipients is little known.
