Abstract
This research chapter aims to evaluate the role of societal research and development center in terms of analysis of the Northern Cyprus society in pandemic times. In addition, this chapter has an impact to analyze the society during, before, and after the pandemic period. Different dimensions were considered through the guidance of experts and their reflections. It gives insights on the essences of the society in relation to management, health, education, psychology, technology, and sociology. A qualitative method was used to give detailed expressions of postmodern society situation from eight experts' views. NVIVO 12 Plus qualitative data analysis program was used. Research revealed that there are changes in the way of postmodern societal systems in pandemic times. The northern part of Cyprus society has been affected by pandemic times, and these changes have been experienced in management, health, education, and psychology systems through the impact of technology. Risk management plays an important role for coordination of postmodern societies. The way of behaving through the exchange of lives and understanding the life after pandemic make a change in education styles, health services, communication, and management perspectives put emphasis on social media and internet-based applications to create a digitalized society. In this respect, network society has been established based on the merits of information technology and education system that have started to change its nature.
