Abstract
14th International Scientific and Technical Conference “Problems of energy systems and thermal power complexes” (PESPC)30 October – 1 November 2018, Saratov, Russian FederationThe international scientific and technical conference “Problems of energy systems and thermal power complexes” has a long history. It is conducted based on Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov and the Saratov Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences once every two years, and from October 30 to November 1 2018, the 14th conference will be held.The conference focuses on the study of the physical and technical problems of the power industry with the aim of improving and developing new energy equipment, including cogeneration plants, increasing the efficiency of renewable energy sources, improving the safety, reliability and cost-effectiveness of power generating units, including nuclear power plants. Discussed problems: non-uniform power consumption schedules, the creation of energy storage devices, including hydrogen technologies, the scientific basis for improving energy complexes.
