Abstract

Introduction: Children's Oncology Group (COG) is the largest pediatric clinical trials group, with more than 240 participating hospitals. Today, almost 90% of all childhood cancers in North America are treated on a COG protocol. For the first time in 30 years, retinoblastoma treatment protocols are open and enrolling patients. This workshop was developed in conjunction with the leadership of the Retinoblastoma Committee at COG, and was presented, in part, to pediatric oncologists at their American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (ASPHO) meeting in April, 2008.
