Abstract

Monochorionic (MC) twins are at increased risk for complications, including twin-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) and in utero fetal demise (IUFD). Factors associated with these outcomes are not fully understood. Associations between cord insertions (CI), inter-twin vascular connections, specifically arterio-arterial anastomoses (AAs), and these complications were studied.
