Abstract

This paper shows a possibility of passive or active control of the rotating cavitation by using an actuator disk method. A device which can change the amplitude and phase difference of the velocity disturbance is assumed. It was found that, (1) A stable region appeared dependent on the amplitude and phase. (2)For large value of mass flow gain factor, it is not possible to completely supress rotating cavitation. (3) However, entirely stable region apperes, if mass flow gain factor is relatively small.
