Abstract

In September 2006 the Centers for Disease Control recommended that all emergency department (ED) patients aged 13-64 be offered an HIV test, regardless of their perceived risk. However, patient attitudes towards routine ED HIV testing are unknown. We analyzed the attitudes of ED patients towards ED HIV testing.
