Abstract
13C NMR spectra of the 15 stable imidazoline nitroxides have been studied. It has been shown that introduction of the N-oxide oxygen atom to the 3 position is most favourable for penetration of the spin density to the CN group of the imidazoline cycle, and for its effective migration about the conjugated π-system at long distances.
