Abstract

Abstract The 13C contact shift patterns of several aromatic amines induced by Gd(fod)3 have clearly been interpreted by the superposition of σ-type delocalization of positive spin transferred directly into C1 from the Gd ion and π-type delocalization of the negative spin introduced into the N-lone pair orbital.
