Abstract
13C-NMR shifts are reported for a number of long-chain and cyclic epoxides ( cis and trans, saturated and unsaturated) and of several primary alcohols and hydroperoxides. The influence of each of these three functional groups on the chemical shift of nearby carbons has been determined and some new additivity parameters are reported.
