Abstract

Introduction and aims: of the study: Breast cancer is common among young women in their child-bearing years. Hence, diagnosis and treatment of this malignancy might affect the time of pregnancy and challenges healthcare professionals to balance risks and benefits for mother and fetus. This study reports a case of a 33-year-old nullipara who presented with progressive proximal muscle weakness in the 12th week of gestation. Six years ago she was diagnosed with a triple-negative breast cancer (pT2 pN1a G3 M0).
