Abstract

The most basic form of LBM is lattice Bhatnager-Groos-Krook (LBGK) model. LBGK requires relatively large number of lattices to simulate flow at even moderately high Reynolds number. Various methods for improving numerical stability of LBM have been proposed. In this work, we examined RLBM and MRT-LBM implementation for three-dimensional lid-driven cavity flow at high Reynolds number.
