Abstract

There is a narrative suggesting that floor of mouth (FOM) oral squamous cell carcinomas (OSCC) metastasise earlier, therefore behaving more aggressively, than other oral cavity subsites. Our null hypothesis was that FOM OSCC has a regional metastatic propensity no different from other oral cavity subsites.
