Abstract
To demonstrate our experience with the modified laparoscopic Vecchietti procedure in treating vaginal agenesis. This video details the case of a 17 year old woman who was referred to our office for evaluation of vaginal agenesis. Management options were reviewed with the patient and her parents extensively and following counseling, the patient and her parents chose to proceed with surgical management with a modified laparoscopic Vecchietti procedure. In this video, we detail the modified laparoscopic Vecchietti procedure and subsequent postoperative care. The modified laparoscopic Vecchietti procedure is a feasible and effective technique to surgically treat vaginal agenesis.
