Abstract

In this paper the authors describe IK Brunel's work in the Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations and the Paddington Station of the London terminal. Britain, called "The Workshop of the world" in the mid 19th Century, held the first international exhibition of manufactured products in Hyde Park, London, from 1st May to 15th October 1851.
