Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of 12-week Combined exercise program on the obesity indicators, cardiovascular risk factors, resistance and cardiopulmonary fitness of obese middle-aged women.<BR> To do so, it experimented 20 middle-aged women with percentage of body fat over 35% after assigning them to experimental group(n=10) and control group(n=10) and let them do aerobic and resistance exercise for 50 to 60 minutes per, 5 times a week during 12 weeks. For data analysis, two-way repeated measures ANOVA was used. The analysis brought forth the findings as follows.<BR> 1. there were interactive effects in % fat, VFA, WHR.<BR> 2. there were interactive effects in FFA, TG, HDL-C, SBP.<BR> 3. there were interactive effects in V̇O₂max, Heart rate at rest.<BR> In conclusion, 12-week complex exercise turned out to have positive impact on obesity indicators, cardiovascular risk factors, cardiopulmonary fitness of obese middle-aged women.
