Abstract

Introduction and aims of the study: Big ovarian masses present difficulties when a minimal invasive approach is advocated. The aim of the study is to present a minimal invasive approach that involves a small incision for more accurate and organ preserving surgery. Methods: A minimally invasive approach for excision of a 20cm dermoid cyst is presented. Results and Discussion: Α 20 years old patient presented because of a feeling of pressure in the lower abdomen. Her BMI was 35 Kgr/cm and a mass was palpated in the lower abdomen extending to the umbilicus.
