Abstract

The Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) is a system of measurement tools developed to standardize reporting of patient-centered health related outcomes in various domains across a spectrum of chronic conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine validity and reliability of the PROMIS measurement tools for pain interference and quality of life in women with fibromyalgia. The current study is part of a larger randomized control trial evaluating the effect of TENS on movement pain in women with fibromyalgia.
