Abstract

Nonpolypoid colorectal neoplasms (NP-CRN) harbor more advanced histology than polypoid ones. They are suggested to be a key contributor to interval colorectal cancer as their subtle, slightly elevated, flat or depressed shapes make them difficult to distinguish from normal mucosa. Western endoscopists have demonstrated proficiency in their detection. However, the learning curve is unknown. We aimed to evaluate the immediate and sustained performance of endoscopists in NP-CRN detection following training on the features of these lesions.
