Abstract

The Dominican Republic is a developing country with limited medical resources, but with a large incidence of cardiovascular disease and where advanced cardiac life support is not widely available. This study describes the development of Global Emergency Medicine Initiative (GEMINI), a project designed to provide instructional modules on advanced cardiac life support customized to the needs of the participants resident in developing countries.
