Abstract
Temperature measurement method using C_2 band emission intensity ratio is applied to the measurement of time-resolved local temperature in premixed flames. Local chemiluminescence of premixed laminar flames and turbulent flames of propane and air are measured by Cassegrain optical system and spectroscope unit. The relationships between temperature by thermocouples and C_2 band emission intensity ratio are investigated and discussed in the present study.
