Abstract
It is important to investigate actual driving for aged drivers to examine the driving support system for them. To examine the driver support system accepted by aged drivers, it is necessary to understand what kind of support they are requesting. Therefore, a questionnaire survey has been done to about 350 aged drivers, and driving habit for them and the desirable driver support system have been extracted. Moreover, a similar questionnaire survey has been done to the family of the aged drivers because of analysis for their driving ability to be conscious. We examined whether aged drivers know the existing driver support systems, and also whether aged drivers need it. From these results, we consider the driving support system that aged drivers were requesting.
