Abstract

Prior studies have demonstrated both a paucity of feedback and patient care follow-up between emergency department (ED) staff and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel. This practice gap serves as a significant source of job dissatisfaction among out-of-hospital clinicians. A process was implemented at our institution to encourage and respond to feedback/follow-up requests from EMS. The objective of this study was to characterize these requests.
