Abstract
This chapter provides a description of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC)’s regulatory framework and how it is applied in regulation of nuclear activities in Canada. The CNSC’s regulatory framework consists of the Nuclear Safety and Control Act (NSCA), regulations made under the NSCA, licenses and certificates, and regulatory documents and industry standards.
