Abstract
Introduction: 10Z-Himenialdicin is a natural product derived from the marine sponge Axinella carteri. It has reported that 10Z-Himenialdicin has an anti-angiogenetic effect through the NF-κB which produces angiogenic factors such as VEGF and IL-8. Although there is no previous report which revealed the anti-angiogenetic effects of 10Z-Himenialdicin on cancer cells, there is a potential of inhibiting the anti-angiogenetic and prevent the metastasis in pancreatic cancer.
