Abstract

An aim of this study is to establish the analysis methodology of aerodynamic noise. In this study as preliminary, aerodynamic noise analysis of flow around a square cylinder was conducted. In this study, acoustic field and flow field are calculated separately. In addition, large eddy simulation is employed for the turbulence model. As a result, calculated drag and lift coefficient are showed the same tendency of experimental result. Therefore, the same tendency of turbulent flow field as an experiment is reproduced. Also, spectra of aerodynamic noise have peak value of about 200 Hz, and the same tendency of experimental result showed.
