Abstract
Objective: We report a particular manifestation in EEG, corresponding to two spontaneous and motivated smiles, in a right handed woman, represented on EEG by slow waves, which have the same form and duration of 4 s, on the two frontal channels FP1 and FP2, corresponding to the left and right prefrontal cortex areas, after the elimination of other possible explanations as artefacts, such as sweating, muscular contractions, eye movements, eyelid movements, forehead muscle tensions, electrode destabilization, electrostatic artefacts, and human manipulating errors, and with the help of the preexisting literature.
