Abstract
A Zenker’s diverticulum (ZD) (prevalence of 0.01% to 0.11%) typically presents in elderly male individuals. Complete esophageal obstruction is a rare complication due to fusion of the proximal esophageal lumen with the septum of the ZD. The aim of this video is to describe a novel endoscopic/approach to manage a ZD associated with complete esophageal obstruction.
