Abstract
A new confocal micro-PIV system is developed using a motorized microscope stage. The system allows us to measure micro-scale flow with high spatial resolution in higher speed than that of conventional system. The system has a potential to experimentally investigate the interaction between red blood cells (RBC) and surrounding flow under biological environment. In order to investigate a performance of the system, we measured Poiseuule flow under both the present and the conventional system, and compared the results.
