Abstract
Ultrasound evaluation for ectopic pregnancy is a critical step in patient management. Although this assessment is often straightforward, findings can be ambiguous, if not misleading, in a small but important minority of patients. This presentation reviews sonographic criteria for the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy, emphasizing potential technical and interpretive pitfalls.
