Abstract
Ultrasonography of the wrist area is now a commonly performed diagnostic procedure in the Radiology Department of most Hospitals. These cases often require close communication between the patient, the referring clinician, be it an Orthopaedic Surgeon, an Infectious Disease Physician or a Rheumatologist, amongst others, and the Ultrasonographer and Radiologists. In our institution, all wrist ultrasonography cases are performed by the Musculoskeletal Radiologists and specially trained Ultrasonographers.
