Abstract

The object of this study is to evaluate crack growth range by J-integral range of the plate made of SUS304 stainless steel in creep-fatigue tests at high temperature. Some tension-compression tests with the strain range 0.5% under strain-controlled loading for the specimen with a central hole with four patterns of strain holding time (Omin, 30min, 60min, 150min) of the max tensile strain at 550℃ were conducted. Crack growth rate and J-integral range of fatigue and creep were estimated from the data of crack length, the peak stress and stress relaxation of strain hold. The characteristics of creep-fatigue tests and the estimation of crack growth range calculated by J-integral range were considered.
