Abstract

Abstract 100 Years of a Quarterly Journal on Scientific Pedagogy: A Twofold Transformation Process This article traces the path taken by the journal over the past century, emphasizing the shift both within the relationship between the church and science and within the discipline itself. Founded as an organ of church policies in the service of Catholic pedagogy, its focus shifted – partially encouraged by the Second Vatican Council – to continuously reviewing the claims of validity made by scientific pedagogy. In its current form, the journal serves as a discursive platform that is open to a variety of theoretical references.
