Abstract

Telehealth is a reality for health care professionals in the current pandemic‐afflicted world. Defined as real‐time interactive videoconferencing, telehealth involves the provider and patient using technology for treatment when they cannot meet in person. Even prior to the pandemic, the number of users of telehealth had grown exponentially. It is predicted to reach 266.8 billion by 2026, an increase from 49.8 billion in 2018 (Child Mind Institute 2020).
