Abstract
Non-HLA antibodies may have a role in allograft rejection. Of interest is the development of antibodies (abs) to the MHC class-I related chain A (MICA) molecules, a polymorphic series of molecules with limited expression on endothelial and epithelial cells. The objectives of the study were to determine the frequency of pre-transplant MICA abs and their effect on graft survival.
