Abstract
We will experimentally demonstrate 10 Gbit/s repeaterless transmission over a record length of standard fiber (SMF-28) using a modified duo-binary RZ signal generated by one dual-drive LiNbO 3 modulator. Our results show that the MD-RZ signal can tolerate a certain dispersion tolerance range.
