Abstract
去勢雄，4歳齢のメイン・クーンが，食欲不振および嘔吐を主訴に来院した．血液検査では，尿素窒素（164mg/dl）およびクレアチニン（20.5mg/dl）の上昇が認められた．腹部X線検査，超音波検査，排泄性尿路造影検査の各所見から，腫瘤による尿管閉塞およびそれに伴う急性腎後性腎不全と判断し，開腹術を実施した．腫瘤の摘出が不可能であったため尿管との癒着を剝離し，術後から腹膜透析を行った．腫瘤の病理組織検査においてリンパ腫と診断されたため，ステロイド療法を併用したところ活動性，食欲ともに回復し良好に経過したが，第67病日に死亡した．剖検で腎臓を含む全身臓器の組織にリンパ腫の浸潤が認められた．腹膜透析療法を併用することによりQOLを改善することができたことから，本症例においてはこの方法が有効であったと考えられた．今後，腹膜透析の導入基準や予後ならびに治療継続の基準について検討する必要性が示唆された．
