Abstract

A seven-year-old female Labrador retriever was presented with lameness and pain of the left hind limb.Physicalexamination, serum biochemistry profiles, radiographs, and histological examination of a bone biopsy indicatedan epithelial tumor in the left distal femur and liver cancer.However, the relationship between the boneand hepatic lesions was not confirmed.The dog died before palliative therapy could be employed.Histopathologicalexamination following necropsy revealed hepatocellur carcinoma with bone metastasis.This report documenteda rare case of hepatocellular carcinoma with long bone metastasis.
