Abstract

The author will report about a typical case of nerve abscess in tuberculoid macula patient of 66 years female.1) There were eight abscesses in left arm nerves.2) The tissue was a highly organized tuberculoid granuloma, Lepra bacilli were found extracellular in the cheesy substance and in the pus of these abscesses, but lepra cells were not found.3) As for the genesis of the abzcess condition, it can be seen as the highly biological reaction of the nerve tissue against lepra bacilli.
