Abstract

In this paper, 1 to 4 way wideband power divider using substrate integrated waveguide and modified Wilkinson structures are presented. Two stages of a 2-way power divider and their arrangement to form a 4-way power divider for feeding the input perpendicular to the substrate are discussed. The simulated transmission coefficients, reflection coefficients and isolation for the 2-way power dividers and the 4-way power dividers are also discussed. The designed 4-way power divider with substrate integrated waveguide and modified Wilkinson has a −10 dB impedance from 1.6 GHz to 3.5 GHz having a fractional bandwidth of 74.5%.
