Abstract
The article deals with the meaning that 1 Cor 15:21-22 has within Saint’s Augustine work De peccatorum meritis, making a comparison with the meaning that the same text has within a previous Augustinian work, namely Contra Fortunatum, underlining the Christological and Soteriological aspects of it.
