Abstract
Military-connected youth often experience stress related to parental deployment and frequent relocations. LGBTQ youth experience increased risk of negative mental health outcomes compared to heterosexual cisgender youth, thought to be due to exposure to sexual and gender minority stress. Little is known about health disparities among LGBTQ military-connected youth. To better characterize these effects, we describe the intersecting stressors among LGBTQ and military-connected youth.
